Dallas, TX : Dallas World Aquarium

One distinct thing about Dallas was the breakfast they gave at the place we were staying at. As mugi says "breakfast dia orang solid". A typical American breakfast but yeah better then all the standard "cereal to coffee" breakfast.

So after Mugi's 11hour drive its Nic's turn to drive

First stop, Dallas World Aquarium :

I know...wtf ... go dallas visit aquarium ... anyways, it wasn't entirely an aquarium orang america pandai cari business commercialize. Kau ingat aquarium tapi sebenarnya, aquarium+ rainforest.

Where you can find all sorts of creatures... anything from penguins to frogs.

Examples?

Baby gators...

Happy feets

manitees...

and sharks, don't know who is actually scarier

Anyways.. that wasn't too long and we kinda spent 20 usd for it lol.. crap anyways it was pretty interesting...So we then decided to venture into the city on foot only like brave explorers our ancestors were and managed to take some pretty perky shots of the city

What else do you need to know eh? LOL..

Next, we went skating in galleria mall and jessey decided to go do some shopping...

my first time skating, and its in dallas same goes for mugi lol.. its definitely harder than it looks...

Jingle bells jingle bells jingle all the way

Oh what fun it is to see people kiss the ice hey...

Nah it's not what you think it is, i m just trying out some new moves i learned from that 3 year old i just met.

POSES OF THE DAY ==>

Phew, even blogging now is trying... i think i made a good decision to wait till the trip ended... but a bit sien also now haha not sure how many cities i ll be able to cover.. unless of course someone really wants to see it. Aiya so lazy la..so many things lol...

Day 1

We were supposed to leave for Dallas, Texas at 10-11 but there was a slight delay ahem...

I was hit by a case of "i-don't-have-it-but-it's-in-my-pocket" with the car keys... oh yeah mugi rented a new nissan ultima. I kinda left the keys in my jacket's pocket felt like i was carrying nothing though. We left at 12 instead after lunch with BC.

Personally i think the car was pretty awesome, spacious and etc. Anyways, needless to say more about the car as we put it to test.

A Japanese car with 4 Malaysian going across America. Pretty ironic in some sense ain't it?

Anything interesting on the road?

Another Sunny Day

With Artilleries

Horses in wagons

Wall decorations out of nowhere

Trucks and more trucks... :S

The journey was 780 miles and only mugi drove for 11ish hours... Just for bragging rights >_<" Haha... Knocked out when we reach our destination at night... Nic gets bored easily in the car, he has his ipod touch though.

Mugilan Batamale (Pronounced as Batumalai please =] )

I tried blogging during the trip but it wasn't very convenient there was only one laptop so i don't think hogging it would be nice on the nerves and internet connection wasn't very consistent throughout the places we stayed in. Besides, living the moment seemed like a better option then and even now.... Just a different in tenses... past tense for now..

Note to self : Bring more things to do in car in case of another roadtrip.

The Plan

Initially the plan was started of by Mugilan Batamale, the guy who turned out to be "obsessive compulsive" towards certain things like taking pictures with cactus and getting souvenirs. Nicholas Ngoo and Jessey Lee then help planned the rest. I was kinda tied up with exams and work at first. Then i joined in haha...

So yeah this was the initial planning for the trip across the continent

Route to

Route back

We were all supposed to split the distance among four people but yeah things happened(a story for another day) and it ended up with them being the only people with car licenses. So yeah Mugi and Nic took the challenge head on with out really bothering what other people think.. hell yeah... even i thought it was crazy, i never heard of driving that long... well at least in malaysia.

A staggering distance of 5000-6000 miles(8000 - 9600 km), somewhere in between, maybe even more not sure how much...exactly Peninsular Malaysia from tip to toe is only about 450 miles?

Anyways this was the schedule, obviously we had to make some changes during the trip

The gas prices,

You think we would stop planning there don't you? Nope theres more, but i think you get my point so yeah i ll spare you from the misery lol... We are Tech students to the bone i guess.

LOL... So Yeap, that's how it all began...

Well sorta...
